Spearhead is a fresh game format for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, allowing players to engage in fast-paced battles using self-contained boxes of miniatures, featuring streamlined rules and thrilling, edge-of-your-seat conclusions.

While it differs in several ways from full-sized Matched Play games, Spearhead is designed to be both accessible and tactically rich. It works wonderfully as a stand-alone experience and serves as an excellent introduction to the larger battles of Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Each faction's Spearhead force is built using the contents of a single box, with all existing Vanguard boxes being rebranded as Spearhead boxes. Since these sets vary in the number of models they include, Spearhead introduces unique warscrolls, faction rules, and new mechanics to ensure balance between the forces.
