Hello everyone, before we get into the details of the Zendikar Rising delays announced by Wizards of the Coast, CMO Games has a few things to say. First, we’ve already contacted our distributor network and been reassured of our allocation numbers. Second, the stock listed in our preorder section have taken into account already placed preorders and will be part of wave one.
Now then, the launch allocations for Zendikar Rising have been split into two waves. Wave one will arrive in time for launch on September 25th. Wave two, meanwhile, has been delayed from seven to ten days. There has been not been an announcement reducing the amount of Zendikar Rising being printed. Some stores in North America and Asia-Pacific will experience shortages on launch, particularly if they’ve leaned heavily into preorders or ordered lean. Sadly, Zendikar Rising Bundles will arrive, “as soon as possible, though they are unlikely to be available at launch.” we do not have an exact date for the Bundles at this time.
Additionally, the launch date for Commander Legends Collector Boosters has been rescheduled for November 20th. Asia-Pacific customers will also see delays on Commander Decks associated with Commander Legends being rescheduled for November 20th. All other Commander Legends products are on schedule for the November 6th release.
While we don’t have a date, Jumpstart did get a mention in the announcement. Wizards of the Coast wrote, “we expect to have updates on these shipments very soon and will share that information as soon as we are able.”
The good news, such as it may be, from the announcement is that the Zendikar Rising Prerelease were not mentioned. Unless there is another notification, expect Prerelease to proceed as normal.
