We’re two weeks out from the release of Time Spiral Remastered or TSR. CMO Games is currently taking preorders for this exciting set. Let’s take a look at some of the great features TSR brings to the table.
Time Spiral Remastered Drafts
TSR takes the the Time Spiral Block and boils it down to a one set draft experience. You’ll find a carefully curated set of cards from original Time Spiral, Planar Chaos, and Future Sight. Wizards of the Coast worked hard to remove filler, chaff, and others cards that didn’t quite work. The result a smooth, but evocative, draft experience.
Powerful Reprints
You’d expect a non-standard set to have powerful reprints. Time Spiral Remastered won’t disappoint! We’re getting direct casting spells and setting up for success with Suspend mechanics.
Slivers!
We’re back to old school with Time Spiral Remastered Slivers. Unlike more recent iterations, these Slivers buff all Slivers in the game. Even if you don’t intend to play Slivers heavily, it would pay to draft a few as they come around. Just when you’re opponent has their Sliver machine running summon a few of your own for powered up mayhem. Here are a few among the many we’re getting in the set.
And there’s a whole lot more of these little monsters coming with these three colors. While the set contains no pure Black or Blue Slivers, there are gold Slivers arriving with those colors in their casting cost. Splash away.
Time Shifted Cards
The original block was known for the the special printed cards found in each booster. Whether they were purple symbol reprints, alternate reality color shifted cards, or preprints of cards to be “created” for future sets, they were an iconic part of every pack. Time Spiral Remastered continues the tradition of these special cards.
While these time shifted cards are reprints, they’re not older reprints. These are all reprints from sets that came after the Time Spiral block. To set them apart from other modern cards, the time shifted cards will appear in original MtG borders and call back the purple set symbol.
Wizards concentrated on cards played in current formats, such as Commander, Modern, and Pioneer, prioritized popular commanders, and worked to make them play well with TSR Limited.
Not only do they look great, but they give you a second chance at some great picks.
