November 1st the UK government announced a new Covid-19 lockdown. Today, Games Workshop made a public statement explaining the effect on their business. As per the order, GW retail stores will be closing in England on November 5th. However, the order permits their factory, warehouses, and webstores to remain open.
Consequently, Games Workshop foresees no interruption on their supply chain for the rest of the world. New product and restocks are expected to continue to roll-out as scheduled.
Games Workshop reiterated their commitment to following local government guidelines where ever they have operations. At the moment this includes retail stores in Wales, Belgium, and France.

At the moment, Games Workshop has not commented if the recent tight allocations to new releases are related to production complications, lockdown planning, or another cause. We’ll keep you informed if any of the above changes. Thank you for your patience.
CMO Games wishes the best to Games Workshop employees, our customers, and our staff. Stay safe and play games!
