We’re just a few days away from GW Arrivals for October 15th release. Let’s take a quick look at what ships out this weekend.
Two factions for Age of Sigmar
Battletome Lumineth Realm-lords should have released a few weeks ago with the Disciples of Tzeentch, but the Fateweaver had other plans. This Codex, updated and expanded for the current edition, details the Lumineth with 29 warscrolls and pitched battle profiles, 6 Great Nations, Path to Glory and more!
Accompanying the Battletome are the usual accessories of Warscroll cards, Lumineth faction dice, and a Vanguard set to start your army. Lumineth Realm-Lords Warscroll Cards provide quick references for your Warscrolls as well as 2 token sheets to mark effects. Lumineth Realm-Lords dice show your loyalty to the light with 20 light blue dice bearing the Lumineth icon in place of their 6. Finally, the Lumineth Realm-lords Vanguard set starts your path with a Scinari Cathaller, 5 Vanari Bladelords, 10 Vanari Auralan Wardens, and 10 Vanari Auralen Sentinels.
The blinding light of the Lumineth may just be eclipsed by clouds of dust raised by the biggest army in the Mortal Realms. A new Battletome Sons of Behemat leads the charge! This gargantuan tome features 8 warscrolls and pitched battle profiles, 4 Tribes, Path to Glory, and rules for mercenary Mega-Gargants in any army. Whether building your own titanic force or stomping into someone else’s list, This Battletome is ready for play.
The Sons of Behemat need more than a battletome. This release coincides with two new boxed sets. King Brodd makes the famed leader of Sons of Behemat and builds all four of the other Mega-Gargant warcrolls in your tome. Mega-Gargants are powerful combatants, but they lack numbers. Enter the Mancrusher Mob, a boxed set with 3 Mancrusher Gargants. Alternately, they may be built as Aleguzzler Gargants for the Gloomspite Gitz or Chaos Gargants for Beasts of Chaos. Regardless of how you construct your forces, you’ll have tones of bitz for future conversion work and customization.
Land Raider Classic
Harkening back to the original rhomboid Land Raider comes the Land Raider Proteus kit. Featuring all the Land Raider’s fire power and armor, the Proteus also includes a forward assault ramp. Meanwhile, the Explorator trades the ramp for a dozer blade for increased broken terrain capability. Either way, you’re fielding the best main battle tank in the 31st millennium.
For the Emperor!
Celebrate 35 years of Warhammer 40,000 with Bayard’s Revenge commemorative model. This limited release model features Bayard of the Black Templars slaying an Ork Nob. Whether you want a beautiful diorama piece or an unique Emperor’s Champion, this limited edition model is for you.
Thank you for reading working through the latest GW Arrivals for October 15th. Check back on Saturday for a whole new week of preorders! We’ll see you on the gaming tables.
