With the full line launch for an army, you’ll need to start with the Codex. In this case, Codex Supplement: Black Templars. This tome of invaluable knowledge includes Datasheets unique to the chapter, Crusade rules, and more.
The Codex Supplement does not reprint rules and units from Codex: Space Marines. You’ll need a copy of that codex to fully use the Black Templar book.

Preorders go live this November 13th at 12:01am and run until release or when supplies expend themselves. Expected ship date is November 26th, 2021.
