The Recruit Edition features a handful of dice and minis, as well as the rules to get you started with the contents. a small Space Marine force of 5 Assault Intercessors and a Primaris Lieutenant stand against more than twice their number of Necron foes; 10 Warriors and 3 Canoptek Scarab Swarms led by a Royal Warden.
The Elite Edition builds on the Recruit Edition by adding fast and powerful attack options. The 5 Assault Intercessors and Primaris Lieutenant of the Space Marines are joined by 3 Outriders. The Necrons mirror their deployment, adding 3 Skorpekh Destroyers to their Warriors, Canoptek Scarabs Swarms, and an Overlord.
In the Command Edition, Games Workshop goes full starter. The miniature count remains the same as the Elite Edition. However, this set includes a 184 page rulebook, a fold-out, double-sided gaming board, and a new set of ruins and pipeline plastic terrain.
