We’ve eaten our turkey, survived the rush on Black Friday, and even recovered from Cyber Monday. Now we face the greatest mail order challenge of the year – Christmas shipping!
Last Day to Order
Ready? Both USPS and UPS have official guides on their websites. However, those are for when the shipper receives the package! If you’re placing an order through CMO Games, you’ll need to give us the time to pull, pack, and get your order into the queue.
The last days you can place your order and expect it to arrive by Christmas are shown on the calendar below.
Shipping Problems
Everyone loves to send gifts! Unfortunately, they’re all sending them at the same time. Check the FAQ below for the most common concerns and answers.
My tracking number isn’t updating
Due to the large volume in the system some packages will miss their scans. Usually this doesn’t delay the package. While the computer hiccupped, the workers already have to loaded. It should scan at the next destination or when out for delivery.
My order is showing delayed
Sadly, you may see a package delayed notice. Reasons could vary from systemic logjams to adverse weather. In any case, while your package may be delayed for a number of days, the delivery services are working extra hard to correct them. You should see movement soon.
Tracking says delivered, but I can’t find it
Tracking shows your package arrived, but it isn’t on the doorstep or in your box.
First, check with your household, the outside of your property (side and back) and then your neighbors. We’ve had several instances where they were taken inside and put under other mail, a jacket, and in one memorable case inside the buyers hobby room! After that, if using the USPS, start a mail search here – https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
If you’re using UPS, contact CMO Games directly at chaosmailorder@gmail.com since we’re required to start any claims process.
If that’s the last day, then when should I order
Today. No, seriously, the earlier your order is placed the more likely any problems have the time to work their way through the system.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
