Strap in tight. Next drop LV-426! Another Glorious Day in the Corps pits the players against an unflinching AI driven horde of aliens. Grab a copy now at CMO Games.
You’ll throw down in three distinct missions based on key events in the movie; Newt, Escape, and Survive. Tie the three missions together with Campaign mode which stretches your team and supplies to their limits. In campaign you’ll also pursue additional Rescue and Supply missions as you lose troops and run out of gear. Finally, several stand alone Bug Hunt scenarios provide a tense survival mode for one shot games.
Another Glorious Day in the Corps includes detailed plastic miniatures for Ripley, Newt, Lt. Gorman, Corporal Hicks, Hudson, and Vasquez. Sixteen multi-pose Xenomorphs, plus many blip tokens, fill the role of the endless horde. Component quality is high with thick double-sided game boards, game cards featuring movie art, AIM dials, and scads of tokens and dice.
Expansions Scheduled
Later in the year, Another Glorious Day in the Corps receives two previously released expansions and a third all-new release.
Ultimate Badasses brings you the rest of Sulaco’s ground pounders; Sergeant Apone, Dietrich, Crowe, Drake, and Wierzbowski, as well as corporate executive Burke. Rules expansions include Experience Cards to provide new abilities for any of your heroes.
Get Away From Her You B***h! takes the fight directly into the hive and to the Sulaco’s flight deck with movie driven scenarios that also extend your campaign game. New figures represent Ripley with Newt, Ripley in her Power Loader, Bishop, half of Bishop, and the mighty Alien Queen. In addition to that, new rules allow one player to control the Alien Hive. As if the AI wasn’t cutthroat enough!
Finally, the Wer’re in the Pipe, Five By Five, completes the marine complement with the dropship’s flight crew; Ferro and Spunkmeyer, as well as 5 Alien Drone variants. Rules components include updated missions, drone variant rules, more experience paths, and additional Hive cards.
Troubled Print History
Due to the sale of 20th Century Fox, Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps has suffered a spotty publishing history. Originally releasing in 2020, the game entered limbo until this year as all licensed properties went through a lengthy review process. We’re very glad to see it return!
